I love dogs and I would never want to see any suffer. But it's apparent that not ALL racing greyhounds are mistreated. They love to run, and most find homes after they retire. Some are mistreated, but so are many pet dogs living in homes. Most of the people that work at greyhound racing tracks do so because they love greyhounds and are good with them.
