    My great uncle once raced a greyhound and he didn’t bother getting rid of him when he retired, instead he took him home and kept him as a pet.

    That’s what Adoption is for. A Good kennel will adopt their animals out while the animals are still racing so they have a place to go when they retire.

    The other option is killing them if they can”t race. Would you prefer they die?

    wait so you raise gray hounds for the sole purpose of racing then don’t even take care of them when thier old or slow, your pure greedy, it’s all about the money to you, that’s just messed up. :p

    I wish I could adopt one, but my dad’s not too fond of big dogs. :(
