I can’t think of any genre that is pure in terms of the influences required to play it’s style.
To me, hardcore punk and metal would sound like crust?
Metalcore is like metal with touches of emo and hardcore? To me anyways.
Anyways, this is my last post on this video page, since I’m wasting time that could be spent in the sun =(

The Berzerker are such a mixture of different genres, but are generally seen as industrial-grind.
Architects are tech metal… or progressive in some people’s eyes.
TTDTDE are just shit. But I’d call them deathcore/tech metal.

Yeah mathcore is a joke… really, any band who “fits” that made up genre should be called a Tech Metal band e.g TDEP or Architects.

But I don’t think any metal band are intentionally “scene”, it’s just if the general fanbase stereotype are the cancer that is “scenekids”.
Bands like Hollywood Undead and Brokencyde are intentionally scene and very gay.
