Soo many people give up on greyhounds, I read an article in a magazine by a vet who thought greyhounds shouldn’t even be bred because they’re too dangerous. I was disgusted so wrote to the magazine and in the next months issue there was a retraction, apparently thousands of people had done the same and even some suggested that the vet be struck off. The retraction however was half hearted, she blamed it all on a “bad day” and didn’t take back anything she said. I have loved greyhounds all my life, I got my first last year from a small (but well filled) adoption centre called Tia in Halifax. He was a skinny nervous dog who would only go into one room of my house, a year on he is a changed man! Greyhounds can easily be retrained because they constantly want to learn, please and have as many treats as possible. A year on – this is how Pilot is doing!

greyhounds dangerous? what a joke at home theyre the laziest most relaxed dogs around! im glad it was retracted but why was it ever published in the first place? why would someone who obviously knows nothing about the breed write an article about them?

Very nice and brings back so many memories of all the greys I rescued in New England from the early 80′s through the early 90′s ! I am still very much in touch with
the folks who rescued them through my efforts. It became political and I moved on to Borzoi ! Will always love the greys!! JK

What a beautiful video and depicts the wonderful nature that greyhounds have. I have five rescued greyhounds and love each and every one. Greyhounds are the most incredibly affectionate animals and so grateful for every kindness.

Thank you for destroying many myths abtou greyhounds: they are the most wonderful dogs there is! My own long-legged angel lives with 6 lovebirds, goes to sleep in her crate by herself when I tell her that it is time for the birds to come out! She became friends with a squirrel, the other day, she kissed a cat on the street! A perfect stranger cat! You did very well with this video! Thank you for this awesome work!
