I’m impressed by the officers. They remained pretty calm. I don’t know how I would have handled seeing someone “defiling a body” right in front of me.

I think people in general are too frightened to help others in need. It’s not only a canadian thing. I’m sure all those people on the bus who ran are living with the guilt of it now.

Agreed Uwanit. I’d like to think that if people on that bus were armed, they would’ve actually done something about the situation instead of running away like babies.

I can’t believe what a bunch of wussies Canadian men are (I am Canadian). For all their tough talk, they certainly won’t risk injury to try to safe a fellow human being. I just hope I don’t fit that stereotype if I am ever sitting on the same bus as a lunatic.

Vince Li was declared not criminally responsible by reason of insanity.
Jeffrey Dahmer was the worst a canibilistic killer in American history, and he was declared sane and sent to jail (which he was killed by a fellow inmate)
If Jeffery Dahmer was declared sane, then so should have Vince Li been declared sane and sent to jail for life.

As one person said, execute this type of criminal. If he ever becomes ‘sane’ it would bother him to say the least: how could he live with himself knowing what he did. He appeared to have been sane because he had a sense of guilt. The truly mentally ill do not feel guilt or a sense of responsibility.
