Glad the dog didn’t hurt himself. In regards to the intelligence of greyhounds, I once backed a dog over here is Aus and coming into the home straight he was going bound for bound with another dog. Right before the line, the one I was on leant across and through his muzzle he bit the other dogs rug and dragged him back half a step, then put in a few hard bounds to get up and just win. He probably had to re-trial for it but the race result stood. I would have bought the champ a bone if I could.

OMG, that was HILARIOUS!!! I was expecting that dog to eventually come flying up behind all of the rest…but he figured out a better way. Too funny.
