Wish I could see more of these programs in other jails and prisons. Probably could also help troubled teens, old folks homes, and rehabilitation centers. Would be a great use of all our tax money.

I wish programs like this would grow by leaps and bounds so no animals are euthanized because they do not have homes. These programs are a WIN WIN for animal, inmate, guards, society and for the world.

What a great idea, letting the inmates work with the rescued greyhounds! My son has two greyhounds and I’m so impressed by their genuine, expressive, cooperative, and friendly dispositions. A perfect win-win for rescued dogs, for the caregivers, and for the people who adopt.

Awesome idea! Adopting 2 greyhounds myself, my hat goes off to the instagator of this fine idea and the respective prison system stepping up to employ such a program. Appears to be a win – win situation for both transitioning women and the “womans” best friend!!
