None of them could shift it with out jerking the bus and passengers around. The other drivers were all 30 years old or older. I was 21. I wound up driving from Cocoa Beach to Orlando. All those drivers were amazed at how easily I was shifting. Smooth. I didn’t use the clutch. They were ignorant. After we left Orlando the other drivers tried their best, but couldn’t recreate my actions. I knew then, I could do anything. It gave me confidence like I had never known before. I am forty now. Confiden

I drove for them from 91 to 93. I drove the ‘Golden Eagles’, MC8′s and MC9′s, the 102′s first came out. All electronic those 102′s. Most with air doors and push button shifting. The one I loved the most was an old Trailways MC8. A four speed stick, with reverse on the console. You flip a toggle switch and put the bus in the only ‘hole’ it would go into…. 2nd. I cushioned on the back of that bus from Miami local to Jacksonville. There were three other drivers on there. TO BE CONTINUED……..
