He had been a stray for around 6 months before being taken in by the Local Noahs Arc animal charity. He was in a bad way, very thin and full of ticks and fleas. He was dehydrated and had cigarette burns to his rear quarters and also a burn to his skull! This dog is one of those that captures your heart as soon as you meet him …

Great story – thanks for sharing! We had two greys to start and then fostered one girl who had been returned to the kennel…like you we couldn’t and our greys couldn’t let her go! They are the three amigos!

What a really good video. I love Greyhounds but my two rescue dogs found me and are as far from Greyhounds as can be. Still maybe one day. Thank you for sharing

hi i am harvey and i have a greyhound called nero we adopted him from wortley retired greyhound trust i also help out there every morning i can. we also go to the track he raced at and sell tips for the people to win the races they cost 50p and all the money goes to the sheffield retired grayhound trust. Harvey the greyhound is so adorable

Stories like this help me keep faith in humanity. My dog was extremely skittish and shy when I got him, but boy did his personality come out when it did.
Put him to sleep back in April

That’s great, I also adopted a dog that was mistreated and abandoned. she was 6 when I got her. 10 today. And she’s such a great pet ! I take her everywhere with me, walk 2 times a day in the woods. Feels so good to see her happy at last
I’ve bought pets before but since I’ve adopted her.. Never again.. There are so many good dogs in rescue centers. Bravo to you !
