seriously, how insulated are you? it is common knowledge how badly greyhounds are treated after racing. they are animals that need protecting, if the industry wasn’t so hell bent on profit, the welfare of these dogs might matter more, but as it is, they don’t care for them. I will ever advocate something that treats ANY living thing like this.

ChosenOneFilms – which kind of says it all in your name – racing greyhounds were bred to serve as a gambling medium – period!
The ‘yes’ vote to ban greyhound racing was won purely on public opinion – public opinion that considered greyhound racing ‘inhumane’. Get used to it because it will be the first state of many to do just that and rightly so.

my wife and i work with a rescue group, compassion for greyhounds, and we are proudly owned by perky, chippy, and chloe, as well as larrydog and miss kansas who are in heaven awaiting us. a very touching video, i must say. our chippy had a rough life in foster care before being returned to innocence as well, and he has just blossomed! i can’t imagine these precious souls not being in my life.

gpa/az we own 3 greyhounds, and foster on a regular basis. we love these dogs and will never own anything but. they’re entertaining, sweet and extremely lovable. we love them all.

give me a break! there is no evidence that any of these dogs EVER raced? this is a one sided video. any dog can get sick, or emaciated. This has nothing to do with racing. Greyhounds were BORN and BREAD to do one thing on this earth… RACE. If it wasnt for racing, these dogs wouldnt exsist. Its a shame, all you voters did is take money away from the state of MASS and give it to R.I. have fun with that heart attack, when the ambulance takes an extra 10 mins to your house = budget cuts.

The time has come to abolish Greyhound racing. It is beyond comprehension that since Greyhound racing has been around approximately ONE MILLION GREYHOUNDS HAVE BEEN KILLED. It is horribly ironic how one of Earth’s most elegant, gentle, noble creatures has been subject to such abuse, torture and exploitation. BLESS YOU, GREYHOUNDS and all the RESCUE GROUPS who denounce racing.

I know cruelty happens and try to help as much as possible by having my own greyhound and walking as many as I can. I would love to have more but its too difficult to find someone who will look after more than one whilst I am at work. People who treat them cruelly should be locked away for years!
