Do you – as a re-homing centre and fully aware of the inherent cruelty surrounding greyhound racing – speak out against the industry?
Or do you protect the industry?

  2. BekkaBytor Says:

This is a rescue place…not people who race them. Our greyhound Genie came through this place when the people who raced her retired her and sent her to these folks in order to get ready for adoption. No house would be big enough for this many rescued dogs and I am so thankful that they were there to take our Genie in before she came to live with us.

I dunno, I see it as living in a boarding situation. Why can’t the people who own these racing greyhounds allow the greyhounds to live at their house rather than be boarded their entire racing career? My dogs HATE being boarded and much prefer home. These poor greys don’t know what they are missing yet as they haven’t experienced a loving HOME yet. =( A kennel can’t love a grey like a real home can.

i have a georgeous greyhound called prince- racing name genetic freak. we rescued him. never ever go to a race behind the scenes they are so cruel. they cut off the greyhounds ears becuz they have all the infomation about there owners in a tag on the inside of their ears and they also kick them into the trap which means tht my greyhound now has permenent leg damsge. how can anyone be so cruel.

This kennel is actually a really nice place and all the volunteers are so nice. For all the dogs to be in Foster homes would be the best, then adoption! AGR is a wonderful organization, and ADOPT A GREYHOUND!!! And Never go to a track!!!

Just thought i would let you know he is very well and wonderful!

I have done greyhound rescue for 6 years now, and I have to say that the kennel work was my favorite part! the kennel is closed and the hounds are now in foster homes, but that kennel experience was the best….the hands on with the dogs is about as good as you can get! Thank you for doing what you do!!

  13. divagaetsky Says:

If you love greyhounds you MUST hate racing! Racing kills greyhounds!

  14. timopod5 Says:

yes, but do you know what happens behind the scences? it’s horrable. watch my video on it to see. its called greyhound racing, a blood sport?

  15. timopod5 Says:

I vollenteer at a place like that only I feed them clean there cenals and and play with them. I go 2 houers 1 time a week. I love it there. the dogs are always so happy. I don’t see how people could be so mean to them. like the ones that come in with broken bones, and they can’t walk, it just breaks my heart.

  16. kannasakura Says:

END THE RACING GREYHOUND HORRORS NOW

  18. GreyhoundsRock Says:

Folks, please limit your comments to the video; this isn’t a forum to be political. No one will ever agree to disagree about greyhound racing.
The kennel is part of Arizona Greyhound Rescue which is based in Tucson.
    Thank you.

  19. boobookittten Says:

Greyhounds are sweet, loving creatures just like the dogs many of us have for pets. They deserve to spend long healthy lives bringing happiness to owners who appreciate and care about them, not in the clutches of individuals who only want to profit from and then dispose of them. The fact that people breed and then mercilessly kill thousands of perfectly good dogs every year in the name of entertainment is inexcusable.
STOP THE ABUSE – END GREYHOUND RACING NOW!!

  20. poopydogs Says:
