I went to one of those greyhound buses when I was a kid back in the day from Iowa to Florida I miss going to greyhound. The first time I went on one of those buses the trip felt like a year lol.
better idea, check with companies to see if they are looking for drivers to transport cars cross country. hire on. buy a car maybe and drive. but take a bus this long. NO WAY

I know is a long trip and the majority would not do it, but I prefer this than flying (I get scare to death on a plane!).

I would have paid Amtrak some $500 dollars and Greyhound cost $120 with a 7 days advance purchase or $240 for the same day trip.

You may check the Greyhound’s web site, since they may offer lower rates.
