I don’t agree that they were cowards. I said they were scared. I didnt say they did anything wrong, just that unfortunately, there were no heroes. It is a complete tragedy. I also commented elsewhere that it seemed like an American crime not a Canadian one. Of course a real Canadian did not commit this heinous act. I just think the poor family is probably wondering why no one tried to help. What if some one stepped in and saved him? We just dont know if he could have been saved or not.

the “young lad” had no chance of survival, he was being stabbed repeatedly with a butcher knife in the neck (i heard) and he prob would be dead by the time someone got up and tried to help him, plus another could have died if they tried to help. what would they do? push the attacker away? then what? In my opinion the death of the victim could have hardly been stopped without another dying..

steel: so, what would have happened if someone had tried and would have been killed as well? the truth of the matter is the victim was probabaly dead within moments. this was a tragedy for all on board.

not to sound as dumb as you, but you ain’t real smart are you sweetie? Everyone was sleeping/listening to music/watching a movie…no one realized he was being stabbed until he had BEEN stabbed in the neck several times. At that point the first thing to do isn’t to rescue him it’s to alert the driver and get the bus pulled over so you can prevent other people from being stabbed/murdered. THEN you try and help the victim if you can. What happened to him is horrible, RIP Tim Mclean.

You people won’t beleive this, apparently those people at the unpopular “westboro Baptist Church” said that they will be in edmonton on saturday to protest the funeral on Tim. That lady Phelps said many insulting things about Tim and his lifestyle like he deserved to have this happen to him and also she mentioned insults against Canada among other insults. They shouldn’t be allowed to come here!!

greyhound buses aint miles long!,, to get from front to back to help the victim takes seconds.

yes maybe so,, but there were 36 people darlin,, not just 4,,,
and i doubt very much he would of killed all of them,, well discounting the women and children of course,, so say 16 of them were MEANT to be men,, HAHA,, men pffft,, that run and leave a young lad to get slaughtered,, but hey,, thats just my opinion.
