they look good compared mci buses
but the interior needs 2 things
1 dark blue curtains
2 carpetting from front to back
like the buses OMNIBUS DE MEXICO
in Mexico
This new design looks much better than old design gets bored. In the past MCI had so much problems with engines and fires on the tires and also making noisy “bumb bam bumb bam” rear wheels when I sat rear near back that I heard something wrong with that and when the driver speeds up into the highway. This Prevost bus does have quiet and smooth ride, once I rode on prevost bus was sound great than MCI.
I rode on one of the new buses from Buffalo to Cleveland about 4 weeks ago. I must say the bus is very spacious and I didn’t have a problem with leg room, but once you go past Cleveland, the new buses seemed to disappear. Much, Much smoother and quieter ride than the bumpy old, rickety buses.
I like the way our new buses look, but why is it that New york gets everything nice and New. you would think that corporate headquarters would atleast have one or two nice new buses, but no we send them all to the north. They sure wont look this nice let alone everything work on them once we get them to dallas. New york is real good about tearing stuff up.
Wow a very impressive and beautiful color scheme. I have tried the 3-point seatbelts of a “J” model MCI and it might work for people of a limited height but for someone at 6′ or more you might as well forget strapping yourself in.
i am emailing from one of these new buses, on a night ride from nyc to montreal. this is probably one of the worst rides i ever took. i am completely unimpressed with the new bus. no leg room, seats seem narrower. i guess it’s still the same olde greyhound crew which makes all experience random. you can be really, really lucky but most of the times you just aren’t.
in all fairness, my leg room problem could be due to seats not pushed to the correct distance – at least i hope so and me and my buddy here are the only ones suffering. whatever the reason – this is the ride from hell.
yes, there is internet. yes, there is a power plug. too bad i had to use this feature mainly to stay warm and not to browse.the temperature on the bus is (as usual) so low, i keep my laptop running and … well, in my lap. this cold air is blowing from all over and makes me sick. shouldn’t there be some sort of temperature “rules” in these damn buses? and don’t get me started on the seats!! they are so uncomfortable, i already named them “the neck breakers”.
don’t expect any improvement from these new buses. the service is just as sucky! it beats me why we can’t have a decent bus service in north america, if you want to experience such a service go to latin america!
or force the greyhound upper management to travel with their own buses, at least 2 times a year, once overnight, once during the day.
i am pissed, i give you that. you would be, too, after a night of no shuteye and constant tossing and turning. i hate greyhound!!
