  11. PAHSB1 Says:

@8v71buses – I know what you mean, S.T.S. use to run those too, but they retired them three years ago. I plan to get some visual and audio of there buses up within in the next month.

  12. 8v71buses Says:

It would be good if Greyhound ordered Setra Buses in the future, because they would be the only buses that would be DD15 powered

  13. nomadnametab Says:

Kind of expected to hear the tracks clanking. Like an old M-60 tank.

  14. w5pda Says:

Dallas-Texarkana still has a few as well :-)

  15. 8v71buses Says:

Sounds just like an Orion 5 and Gillig Phantoms with the same combo of the engine and tranny. Awesome!

  16. 6V92TA Says:

2631′s still around. Ive ran into her in Cleveland about a few months ago. Also, all of the MC-12s wit 6V92s from 1995 up to early 1997 had the Allison HT-746D transmission.

  17. MAR1NAB5180 Says:

Yeah i got 4 of them let me see if i can have ready in the next couple of days.

  18. slimlover2001 Says:

Awesome clip! Can you get audio of n MC-12 with the DD Series 50 in it?

  19. 022921 Says:

Greyhound’s MC-12 Coach is fast disappearing from the scene. Some of the older coaches with the 6V-92ta that were never repainted are still floating around in South Florida on ocassion. The MC-12′s that were refurbished and painted are begining to look shabby and some have been transformed into parts buses. They will probably all be gone by the end of the year…….2009. Hard to get a ride on one.

  20. StopRequested Says:

Lots of Charter/Casino MCI MC coach buses in my area with 6V-92TA & HT’s, but they never sound this nice=)

  21. ENYoriginal Says:

You say Retired? Not really. Greyhound USA still has a few original MC-12s with 6v92TAs with the Allison HT-740, never repainted! They’re usually found on the short routes from New York.

  22. baul104 Says:

Excellent audio! i’ve rode on the MC-12 bus before when I was on my way to Belle Isle Park for the annual Belle Isle Grand Prix Races.
