Wow! Never expected to see video of Greyhound in my lifetime, so glad I found it.
He was huge, wasn’t he? Towered above the others, coming around the far turn. And I agree with the comment about his seemingly 10-foot-long legs!

it it me or does greyhound look like his legs are 10 feet long , his stride must have been huge. just lumbering along the mechanics look like if ya got him to trot dont change a thing or ya may mess up. He was the greatest! i would loe to see him on a top track with pulling a 2 pound sulky for weight, might see a 1:48-49 trotter.

I would love to see more videos like this one – Greyhound was trained and driven by Sep Palin, who was my grandfather’s (Doan Helms Sr.) cousin!

great i read about greyhound as a young girl and now see it.and he was anfather to beef and bootle a stallion i have taking care of many years ago
