Yep… passengers’ lives are a priority over other motorists on the road, as cold as it may sound. Now that I’m a truck driver I would be willing to swerve and risk my life if it meant other people living.
In a vehicle that big it’s best not to swerve for smaller cars. It’s best to maintain lain control, especially with that many lives in your hands. Sure it will suck hitting the cars in front of you, but at least your actions will have been in the right. (I used to drive for Greyhound and Amtrak out of Redding, so I do know what I’m talking about.)

@kenyoung1981 I drove for a local tour bus company, they told us the same thing. Stop if you can, drive through it if you can’t.
