Afterwards, the energetic ones had lots of fun in the paddock chasing each other and racing Peter (a daft human) across the finish line. At approximately 10am the Crown Point Fire Department was dispatched to a report of an overturned Greyhound Bus with multiple casualties. On arrival a level 3 ems plan was implemented which brought ambulances from as far as Gary, Schererville, Saint John, and Hobart Indiana. There were a total of 25 plus ambulance transports and 15 plus additional via a school bus. The Lake County Hazmat Team was also requested for a large fuel spill which was seeping into the drainage system. Investigations continued for several hours

Our two greyhounds set to powerful music – soulful creatures who are unfortunately abused! These guys were rescued from a track in Caliente, Tijuana Mexico.
This is a game we play with our Italian Greyhound IG Emma She is a great dog. She is also totally spoiled as my wife says (she blames me for the spoiling). For some reason certain words make her “roo”. Her main words are Guava Melon, Chihuahua, and MAMA. Also if you make like Pavarotti and sing opera she will go off. (Pretty much anytime I sing she starts howling.) So I made a little Halloween story for her. She got extra treats for this.
At racetracks in New Hampshire, greyhounds endure lives of terrible confinement and suffer serious injuries. This cruelty goes against the values of our community and that is why 65% of New Hampshire citizens support ending dog racing for gambling purposes. Thankfully, this cruelty may soon end when lawmakers vote on House Bill 630, the Greyhound Protection Act. This humane proposal will phase out greyhound racing in New Hampshire by 2010. Please help pass this important law. The greyhounds can’t speak for themselves, and are counting on you to speak for them now.
