www.greytexploitations.com – Please help to seek lawful protection for racing greyhounds The RSPCA have kindly granted us permission to show video footage of John and Robert Freemans kennels, who were recently prosecuted under the Animal Welfare Act for causing unnecessary suffering to greyhounds. The punishment given by the courts is in complete contrast to the leniency shown by the racing industry under the Rules of Racing – when trainers are found guilty of cruelty or causing unnecessary suffering to greyhounds. Causing unnecessary suffering to any animal is an offence under the Animal Welfare Act and is punishable with imprisonment and in most cases a ban on keeping animals is ordered. Not surprisingly, the self regulated racing industry deem it appropriate to simply fine and reprimand trainers guilty of this crime allowing their trainers to continue to breed, train and race greyhounds and presenting them with the ideal opportunity to re-offend. The government is allowing the self regulated gambling industry to police itself as a law unto itself THIS MUST STOP! Please click here to see the RSPCA video and further details of how you can help seek lawful protection for the continually exploited racing greyhound and to stop the perpetual abuse and neglect of these graceful creatures. http

Molly & Blackie are a pair of playful retirees! They are ex-racing greyhounds who love nothing more than throwing squeaky toys around and running full-out. Most greyhounds can be described as a ’40mph couch potato’ but not these two; they are very energetic and are looking for an active home with someone who will appreciate their great personalities. For more information about Molly & Blackie, please get in touch with Dogs Trust Salisbury: 01980 629634, salisburyrehoming@dogstrust.org.uk, or follow us on Twitter @DT_Salisbury.
